TERMS  AND  CONDITIONS

Welcome to Kamp1 School Of Music! Please review the following terms and conditions carefully before starting your musical journey with us.

ADMISSIONS AND ENROLMENT 

  • Your journey begins with a complimentary 30-minute trial class in a program of your choice. This gives you a taste of the experience and helps you determine the right path for your musical growth. To schedule a trial class kindly use this form https://www.kamp1.com/bookatrial 

  • A student is admitted into Kamp1 School of Music upon submitting a declaration form and successfully completing the student intake formalities. 

  • The scheduled class or classes are decided along with the fees, which are required to be remitted in advance.

  • Music lessons are organized on a twice a week basis for 60 minutes or Kids group lessons (we put ONLY two students in a class ) Typically, eight classes are scheduled in the month unless otherwise specified.

PROGRAM OPTIONS

  • Fixed Schedule

    • You have chosen a set schedule for your classes, with sessions held on two specific days each week.

    • This option ensures a consistent learning pace in your chosen discipline (Music Production, DJ, Drums, Guitar, or Piano).

    • Once your program's end date approaches, you will need to make a payment to secure the same time slots moving forward.

  • Flexible Schedule

    • You’ve chosen to attend classes on a flexible schedule.

    • All classes must be completed within the program's given timeframe, plus an additional 10 days after the program's end date to accommodate any missed sessions.

GUIDELINES ON PAYMENTS & REFUNDS

  • Each month, the tuition fees automatically renews at the prevailing rate unless a notice is given.

  • Kamp1 School of Music has a no refund policy.

  • Any unused credits can be transferred to another program or to a family member during your program duration. 

  • Every January there is an annual revision in fees based on the students progress and/or completion of any grade exam.

GUIDELINES FOR MAKE-UP CLASSES, RESCHEDULING & DROPPING CLASSES

  • If you miss any classes, make-up sessions will be scheduled after your initial enrollment term ends on a flexible schedule if payment is not received on the end date. 

  • These sessions are based on general availability and may not align with your original class schedule.

  • Enrollment terms include durations of 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year from the date of your first class.

  • When a class is organized and the student misses the class, the class is forfeited and counted towards the total class tally. 

  • There is no rescheduling for missed or canceled classes. 

  • To maintain your learning momentum, please attend your next scheduled session.

  • If you need to pause or stop your program for any reason, you will have until the end of the same calendar year to resume and complete your remaining credits.Students requiring to stop classes at Music Central are requested to fill and submit the 'Drop My Music Class'  form by the 15th of the month. We are sad to see you leave. Please also share your feedback with us. This is  important for helping us improve. Drop My Music Class form is available at the school.

  • Please note, all credits will expire at the end of the year in which you were originally enrolled.

  • A substitute teacher maybe provided when a teacher falls ill or is on vacation. If this is not possible, the class will be rescheduled and made up. A substitute teacher, is a qualified teacher approved by Kamp1, having completed the preliminaries of an interview and a trial class. The substitute teacher will be of similar credentials of the primary teacher. Kamp1 School Of Music reserves the right to replace the primary instructor with a new qualified teacher in the event an instructor is no longer with the centre or unavailable at the student’s desired lesson time or for any other reason.

GENERAL

  • Kamp1 School of Music reserves the right to make changes to these policies, terms and conditions at its discretion. Students will be provided 30 days advance written notice in the event of any change. These policies shall abide as along as the student is enrolled with the centre. 

  • ​​​Kamp1 School of Music is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Parents with students under the age of 5 are asked to remain at the centre, or to ensure a suitable responsible caretaker is present during the class. Students are not to be left at the school beyond their scheduled class times. 

  • ​Kamp1 School of Music as and when may require to photograph or take videos of students in class for use in our website, social media pages or brochures. Permission is deemed to be granted by the student or parent, unless specifically informed.
